Former CNBC and CNN Senior Correspondent, Allan brings clients deep perspective from both sides of the communications fence, as one of the nation’s most experienced and honored business broadcast journalists and as a former senior partner and head of speaker and media training at global public relations firm FleishmanHillard. Allan has advised, trained and written for dozens of C-Suite leaders, financial professionals, public relations and public affairs officials at a diverse list of companies.
Allan Chernoff was CNN’s Senior Correspondent for 11 years, reporting on air for all of the CNN television and radio networks. He wrote for CNNMoney.com and CNN.com, and served as CNN’s economic and personal finance analyst. Previously, he was Senior Correspondent for CNBC, where he spent a decade reporting for both CNBC and NBC programs, including the weekend editions of NBC Nightly News and Today. He is the recipient of numerous journalism awards.
Allan is a graduate of Brown University and earned an Executive Certificate in financial planning from Fordham University.
Allan Chernoff has written for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Los Angeles Times, Forbes and Money, among many other publications. His book, The Tailors of Tomaszow, is a communal memoir and history of Holocaust survivors. He is a speaker and moderator at corporate, academic and charitable events.
